Create your free Good Neighbourhood account to get involved locally. Run a club, charity, shop or community group? Apply for a Public Account to share what you do.

Create your
personal account.
Follow these steps in the app or on the website.

Open Good Neighbourhood
Open the app or visit goodneighbourhood.co.uk .

Select your town
Choose your town, such as Maidenhead or Windsor, to see what’s happening in your area.

Tap “Sign In”
Select Sign In. On mobile, you can tap Profile in the bottom navigation.

Select “Sign up”
Choose Sign up to create a new account.

Choose how to sign up
Enter your Email address and choose a Password, or tap Continue with Google or Continue with Apple.

Verify your email if prompted
Follow any email verification instructions, and you’re in!
You can now follow local groups, sign up for events, join drop-ins and save activities to your diary.
Want to post for an organisation?
Once you’ve created your personal account, follow Part 2 below to apply for a Public Account.
Put your organisation
on the local map.
For local clubs, charities, sports teams, artists, shops and community groups wanting to post events, news or volunteer shifts.

Sign in to your personal account
Sign in to your personal Good Neighbourhood account first. If you haven’t created one yet, follow Part 1 above.

Open your Profile
Tap the Profile tab: bottom right on mobile, or in the top bar on desktop.

Select “Public Account”
Choose the Public Account tab within your profile.

Tap “Apply for a Public Account”
Select Apply for a Public Account to open the application form.

Add your organisation’s details
Fill in the application with:
- Account name
- For example, Maidenhead Running Club or Green Library.
- Type / Category
- Organisation, Hobby Group, Artist, Local Business, etc.
- Town & address
- So neighbours can find you.
- Short bio & link
- A brief introduction and a link to your website or social page.
- Logo or profile photo
- An image to represent your organisation.

Submit your application
Tap Submit Application to send your request to our local team.

Look out for your approval email
Our local team reviews requests quickly to keep the platform authentic and bot-free. Once approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email and the Content management dashboard will unlock on your profile.
Once approved, you can post news, list events, create drop-ins and recruit volunteers.
