I bought a book in 2002 from a National Trust garden shop about general household tips. This recipe is a derivative of one I found in that book. Caution: Don’t use this on granite – it may etch the stone, as it contains lemon and vinegar, but it is brilliant for sinks, steel, porcelain, and pretty much everything else.
